European Club

This relative newcomer to the scene, it only opened in 1993 and is already being ranked alongside the likes of Portmarnock, Ballybunion and Royal County Down. It is currently ranked 57th in the ”World Top 100 Golf Courses” and is ranked #41 in “Top 100 Golf courses outside USA” by Golf Digest. It's a traditional links course and from start to finish the holes are truly spectacular, the ones that are not by the sea by equally as good as those that are.

The European Club, as the name suggests, is designed as and destined to be a major links and a major club. The links features 20-holes (two extra holes are in play most days) of exciting links golf through tumbling dunes with dramatic views of the Irish Sea from no fewer than sixteen of the holes! Some of the holes play along the beach!
